You all know how much I love my Mama and Pops. Had a chance a few weeks back to talk to packers.com about my Mom and wanted to share it here with you all. Got to make sure to thank your mom every day!
Favorite football memory involving my mom:
Some of my favorite football memories with my mom were on rainy days. Any time we played football when it was raining, I’d go find a spot of mud to fall into. She knew I was going to do it every time.
Best advice my mom has ever given me:
Just that nothing comes easy. There are going to be a lot of obstacles in your way, and you have to work hard to get through them. I watched her go through certain obstacles, which confirmed to me that you can get through anything.
One word to describe my mom:
One word my mom would use to describe me:
Hmm, what would she use? She’d probably say awesome.
Favorite meal my mom cooks for me:
Growing up it was fried pork chops, pork and beans and rice.
What it meant to me to buy my mom and dad a new house last year:
It was a very special moment for us as a family. After Hurricane Katrina, we went from our house, to living with my aunt, to living with strangers at the time, to a trailer. To be able to give my mom her own space that’s bigger than what she’s ever had before, it was definitely a special moment.
