Q: What’s the biggest difference between Detroit 3 weeks ago and Detroit today?
A: You know, they’re still floating around, playing fast. It’s going to be a tough game and we’ll definitely have to play better than last time.
Q: Seems like preparation has been a big emphasis this week. Has a since of urgency been added to practice/meetings?
A: Meetings have been a bit tougher, but the coaches know our potential, we know our potential and it’s about getting that potential out. On the practice field we’ve been taking care of business, practicing the way we supposed to. We’re looking forward to our next opportunity on Thursday.
Q: How do you grade yourself after last week’s performance?
A: You know you can always do better. I had the fumble, as a ball carrier that’s what you don’t want, especially when it turns into points for the other team. It’s something you have to put behind you cause you don’t want it to slow you down. But you have to take care of the football.
Q: You have had a couple of 100-yard games this season, but the Lions defense has been playing well. What do you have to do Thursday for production?
A: Be physical and play hard for 60 minutes. They’re going to come out fast and we are too. We’ll we have to try and wear them down and break some big runs in the 3rd and 4th quarter, cause that’s when those run tend to come.
Q: What’s your approach in the back half of the season?
A: I have the same approach that I had since the day I walked in here, and that’s taking care what I can take care of, cause that’s all I can control.
