Things did not go as expected for Green Bay Packers in their first of what will be three games on the road. The Pack made their first stop in Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans, but after losing 25-27, they’d like to leave that game in their rearview mirror.
Green Bay’s next stop doesn’t get any easier, as they head to the east coast to face two dangerous NFC East teams that are fighting to stay alive in what’s been an extremely competitive division. The Eagles will have to wait a week for the Packers, who will be butting heads with the Redskins.
While this is not yet a ‘do or die’ game for either team, both sides are likely considering it to be just that. The Packers (4-5) and the Redskins (5-3-1) each sit at third in their respective divisions, but are both one win away from changing that.
Aaron Rodgers has been doing everything he can to lead a Green Bay offense that still struggles to cope with the loss of Eddie Lacy, but the defense continues to look lost. Head coach Mike McCarthy will have to address numerous problems to turn around their pass defense.
Prepare for a battle at the quarterback position, because these teams have been riding the arms of Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins.There is a lot riding on this Sunday night game that could turn out to be the difference between making or missing the playoffs.
